Abstract

Biology has undergone a revolution thanks to gene editing technologies,
which allow precise changes to be made to the genetic code of numerous
organisms. The three primary tools—CRISPR-Cas9, TALENs, Zinc Finger
Nucleases—are highlighted in this review article, which offers an
overview of the most recent advancements in gene editing methods.
We go over their guiding concepts, uses, benefits, restrictions. We also
look at the ethical issues surrounding gene editing and its possible effects
on a range of industries, including agriculture, medicine, environmental
preservation. Understanding the potential and ramifications of gene
editing technologies is essential for a responsible and successful
implementation as they continue to develop.
