According to the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) it is extremely significant to create awareness about the complications one can face during pregnancy and child birth. Even trimester shows variable levels of glucose levels whose management is very much required to maintain a safe pregnancy. It is well known that India has reported huge number of pregnancies and complications in diabetics (pre-existing type 1 or type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes mellitus [GDM]) and the numbers are increasing progressively. The awareness and management has to be performed under the expert medical professionals with regular guidance by dialectologists has proved out to be a significant factor in controlling complication to diabetics during the pregnancies.
