Even trimester shows variable levels of glucose levels whose management is very much required to maintain a safe pregnancy. It is well known that India has reported huge number of pregnancies and complications in diabetics (pre-existing type 1 or type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes mellitus [GDM]) and the numbers are increasing progressively.
