The increasing prevalence of dermatological conditions has necessitated the exploration of alternative therapeutic modalities alongside conventional treatments. Among these, the practice of banana leaf baths has emerged as a culturally significant yet scientifically underexplored method for managing skin disorders. This paper elucidates the multifaceted benefits of banana leaf baths, highlighting their potential bioactive properties, soothing effects, and cultural relevance in therapeutic practices. By examining existing literature and
anecdotal evidence pertaining to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics of banana leaves, this study aims to underscore their role as a complementary strategy in dermatological care. Ultimately, the findings suggest that integrating traditional practices such as banana leaf baths into contemporary dermatological treatment protocols may enhance patient outcomes and promote holistic healing approaches in the field of dermatology.
